As Ateneo SPEED welcomed the month of April, it also confirmed Alimee Juliene Pagulayan as its new President for SY 2017-2018.
Running on a platform that is centered on membership formation and strengthening the advocacy through the projects, Alimee also wishes to pioneer the “4-Year Plan”, where the organization’s efforts will be geared towards addressing an issue of the PWSN sector in the country within the said time frame. More long-term projects that impact and answer the needs of the sector are expected to take place in the coming years.
In addition, the incumbent VP for Apostolate also aims for more “SpCultured Speple”; providing an avenue for SPEED members to know more about the organization’s history and deepen their awareness and involvement in the sector. Part of this objective is to build the “brand” of an ideal Speple.
Here’s to more involved members and a more inclusive society!
Ateneo SPEED’s Executive Board elections will be held from April 17-19, 2017, at MVP 214. Speple are highly encouraged to vote. For more information on the candidates and their platforms, check out Ateneo SPEED’s 2nd Semester Facebook group.
